Our Lakes are one of Italy’s greatest treasures, a heritage to protect and enhance through concrete choices. Safety, efficient transport and respect for the environment must go hand in hand. This is why the Ministry supports public navigation: over €110 million is being invested in fleet and infrastructure renewal, with more than €7 million for digital innovation. We are investing in hybrid vessels, more efficient facilities and better train-boat integration. Together with the Coast Guard, we are also working to improve safety for swimmers and boaters. European Mobility Week is an opportunity to highlight this commitment. Safer, more accessible and sustainable lakes mean more tourism, better services and new opportunities for families, businesses and territories admired around the world.
