Summer is the culmination of vitality for our lakes. Their banks turn into natural stages on which cultural, sporting and other events meld with centuries-long traditions, telling a unique identity-heritage story made up of evocative landscapes and resilient communities. The purpose of this magazine issue is to promote the many projects and initiatives which bring our areas to life, giving a voice to the people who put all their daily hard work into these and nurture a dynamic social fabric capable of generating not only a profound feeling of belonging but also real economic benefits for the whole area.

The figures for the first quarter of 2026 are extremely encouraging, with 3,900,000 passengers visiting the three lakes, a significant increase on the same period of 2025. A stimulating challenge for the rest of the season where the objective of deseasonalising the lakes is concerned, this is the outcome of synergic planning in close partnership with the Italian Infrastructure and Transport Department and the local government chain as a whole.
Looking ahead to the coming months, we hereby confirm our firm will to continue this journey. Our goal remains offering top-class services to local people, tourists, stakeholders and institutions, further consolidating the status of our lakes as a primary Northern Italian tourist destination.
