Navigazione Laghi promotes a culture of inclusion in a prestigious institutional setting
On the occasion of the prestigious national event Italia Insieme – Turismo accessibile e territorio sponsored by Disabilities Minister Alessandra Locatelli (in the photo with Pietro Marrapodi) on 22 April, Navigazione Laghi will be in Florence to reaffirm its commitment to inclusiveness. Playing a centre-stage role in this institutional setting, with an exhibition space and a speech by Gestore Governativo’s Pietro Marrapodi at a top level roundtable means having our say at an event focusing on personal dignity and the universal right to beauty. The shared vision is building a tourism system in which accessibility is not simply a technical requisite but also a profound ethical value. While it is digitalisation and the breakdown of structural barriers which ensure access to services, it is human warmth and meticulously trained staff which are the true beating heart of our mission. Navigazione Laghi is investing in ongoing staff training, transforming technical skill into interpersonal sensitivity. In this constant improvement journey lake transport means active citizenship in which each individual passenger feels welcome, respected and an integral part of an area which excludes no-one and celebrates dialogue and life, making for a tourism which is finally accessible to everyone.
