The event took place on 22 September in Lecco, with the participation of Minister Paolo Zangrillo, who visited the information stands of institutions such as the Province of Lecco, local municipalities, and law enforcement agencies
Job Day PA was a major success, marking the first nationwide initiative entirely dedicated to connecting supply and demand in the public administration sector. On Monday, 22 September, it drew over 600 participants to the Palataurus in Lecco. Organised by the Province of Lecco in the year of its 30th anniversary (1995–2025), the event was designed to highlight the strategic role of public administration and provide insight into opportunities, professional profiles, and pathways for entering the public sector. During the institutional segment, the speakers included Alessandra Hofmann, President of the Province of Lecco; Antonio Leonardo Pasquini, Provincial Councillor for Employment, Vocational Training, and Education Centres; Mauro Piazza, Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Lombardy Region; Mauro Gattinoni, Mayor of Lecco; and Adamo Castelnuovo, Head of the Lecco Local Education Authority. These were followed by speeches by Alessio Butti, Undersecretary of State to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers with responsibility for Technological Innovation, and Paolo Zangrillo, Minister for Public Administration. Immediately afterwards, Minister Zangrillo, accompanied by President Hofmann, visited the 35 publicly accessible information stands, where the participating entities (Province of Lecco, the municipalities of Lecco, Calolziocorte, and Colle Brianza, local authorities, peripheral state administrations, the Army, and law enforcement agencies) presented their activities, services, functions, and professional opportunities.

Minister Zangrillo then met with a group of 260 students who attended during the morning session. A high level of engagement was also seen at the thematic workshop dedicated to career orientation in public administration, where attendees learned about access procedures—particularly competitive examinations—as well as the official channels for public sector job openings, career pathways, and professional development opportunities within the public sector.
