Bardolino gets ready for its Festa dell’uva

24 September 2025

A very popular event, from 2 to 6 October

After the success of the second edition of Il Bardolino Freddo, the event which promotes a new approach to drinking red wine – cold – in accordance with tradition, Bardolino town council and Fondazione Bardolino Top are now revving up for the La Festa dell’Uva grape festival, from 2 to 6 October 2025. ‘With our flower-lined lakeside promenades, evocative historic-centre streets, centuries’ old churches and panoramic views from Cisano to Calmasino, our area aims to amaze visitors with its beauty and identity’, recounts Daniele Bertasi, the town’s mayor. ‘We also work hard to organise broad appeal attractions, such as international sports’ events like the Thriathlon race and the youth Città di Bardolino football tournament, and festivals designed to show off our local wine and oil, to celebrate and publicise these two local excellences.’

The driving force behind tourist promotion is Fondazione Bardolino Top. ‘Our goal is to increase Bardolino’s tourist, cultural, commercial, agricultural and sporting events, generating tradition, culture and innovation cross-fertilisation with a view to raising visibility, economic value and sense of community’, explains the organisation’s president, Enrico Montresor. ‘The Foundation organises the events, providing an important information and tourist reception service and managing Campeggio San Nicolò.’ The most eagerly awaited and representative appointments include Olivum, the olive oil festival promoted by the town council and the Foundation, Palio del Chiaretto, Il Bardolino Freddo, the traditional Festa dell’Uva e del Vino Bardolino and, lastly, initiatives bound up with the Natale a Bardolino Christmas events.
