My career in the company began in 2005, but even before that, I used to spend time at the port, indulging my love of boats. I turned my passion into a job. After obtaining my captain\u2019s licence, I began sailing on other lakes too, and I\u2019m now quite well-known both on Lake Maggiore and, especially, on Lake Como. Over time, these trips have allowed me to build genuine friendships with several colleagues. To do my job well, you need empathy, patience, and a passion for what you do \u2014 essential qualities for relating to passengers of different nationalities and cultures”.<\/p>\n\n CRISTINA LUCIANO\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n Milan – Administrative Assistant \u2013 Budget and Accounting Department – Start of employment: 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n <\/p>\n\n “I chose Navigazione Laghi because it represents a unique meeting point in our country between public service, local territory, and tradition. In fact, my grandfather, my father, and his two brothers faithfully served this company for many years, and over time I\u2019ve come to appreciate and love it myself. What behaviours and routines do you typically adopt? I\u2019m not sure. One way I behave could be always trying to get along well with everyone, by offering a hug, a smile, a greeting. And a routine? Working with dedication. In my job, as a pipefitter, you need to know a bit of everything and strive to keep up with all the innovations and new developments that come up year after year. To do what I do well, it takes a lot of dedication, patience, and the desire to keep learning \u2014 even after thirty years working in navigation. An unforgettable memory for me? The lake, with all its colours and shades.
